A professional bookkeeper for over 30 years, Cyndi Menard has developed a wealth of financial management and accounting expertise. Cyndi started her career in the corporate arena at Sauter Construction Company, Inc., a general contractor, and Dana Crawford Companies, a commercial real estate developer. In these roles she developed a strong foundation in accounting, payroll management and office administration.
Cyndi then became the Controller of Stewart Title of Denver, Inc. where she managed all accounting functions for the $15-million dollar company. Later she advanced into the role of Treasurer, which featured strategic financial planning, establishing banking relationships, managing tax reporting, and designing general accounting guidelines for the entire company.
Cyndi’s extensive financial knowledge is complemented by her strong interpersonal skills. She has coached employees, cultivated vendor relationships, and led executive level presentations. Most importantly, with her extensive experience she understands exactly what it takes to operate a financially-efficient organization.
With this background, Cyndi launched her private practice in 2004 under the name of CK Menard Professional Bookkeeping Services. She then joined with Cynthia Christianson in 2010. Among others, Cyndi’s current clients include construction companies, trade contractors, event management companies, attorneys, medical services providers and nonprofit organizations.
Cyndi and her husband, Dave, are celebrating 30+ years of marriage. They have two grown children and a spoiled Welsh Terrier. In Cyndi’s spare time, she and Dave enjoy sailing at Chatfield and Dillon Reservoirs. Cyndi’s other interests include gardening and staying involved in her church.
Cynthia Christianson started her career as a bookkeeper and accountant for a general contractor that specialized in both government projects and public commercial building.
Cynthia then moved on to work with Swedish Medical Center and Craig Hospital, where she helped manage their accounting for 35 years. The enormous breadth of her experience with all financial aspects of such a large corporation now enables her to provide top level insights and recommendations for clients of all sizes.
Among others, Cynthia’s clients include general contractors, physiologists, medical service providers, beauty salons, day care facilities and retail locations.
On a personal note, Cynthia has been married for 40 years with two children and two grandchildren, who are the apples of her eye. She enjoys camping, fishing, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Best of all, she truly loves her work!
